Raising Up Disciples

At Hope City, we take children education to the next level, because we recognize growing in discipleship starts with normalizing turning to God, fellowshipping, and service from a young age. All three of our Child Education Ministries focus on teaching God’s word, but more importantly, through these groups, we encourage our younger members to apply God’s word in every aspect of their lives.

Our mission is to secure their spiritual relationship as they grow with God and cultivate their young minds so that they may go out into the world and be leaders that soar past societal standards and their earthly purpose, to reach their God-given standards and their Godly purpose.

Hope City Kidz

Hope City Kidz is open to all of our 5-10-year-old churchgoers at our East New York (ENY) campus; and our 5-13 year-old-churchgoers at our Spring Creek campus (SCC).

They learn God’s word in an age-appropriate and interactive way, preparing them to follow our Child Education path all the way down the road to adult ministry and beyond. Each week, our group facilitators lead the children into learning and loving God’s Word by engaging all five of their senses with crafts, activities, stories (and even snacks!) for easy memory and consistent application. Hope City Kidz Children’s Church takes place on the 2nd through the 4th Sunday of every month at both of our locations – ENY at 9:00am and SCC at 11:15am. On the first Sunday of every month, we convene only at SCC at 11:15am.

If you’d like to enroll your child, simply stop by any of our Hope City Kidz Sunday services and complete a New Student Registration Form! If you’d like to find out more information about joining, volunteering or being a guest teacher, contact us at [email protected]!

Tweens

Also known as our pre-teen group, our ’Tweens Ministry consists of our 11-13-year-old churchgoers who are right in “between” small aged children and our teenaged youth group.

We commit to engaging and encouraging our pre-teens to partner with God by becoming peer leaders and productive Christians both inside, and especially outside, of our church walls. Betweens group facilitators prioritize transitioning our pre-teens from learning God’s word in a youthful way to applying God’s word as they start to navigate the realities of peer pressure and other social influences. Through age-appropriate activities and lesson plans, our tweens delve deeper into their God given definition of who they are and what they stand for.

Betweens meets every first Friday of the month at our ENY campus from 7:00-9:00pm, and has service on the 2nd through the 4th Sunday of every month at ENY at 9:00am. If you’d like to find out more information about joining, volunteering or being a guest teacher, contact Sister Nikita Felix at [email protected]

Hope City Youth

Our powerfully creative Youth Ministry services our high school churchgoers by challenging them to engage in their relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that translates into their everyday lives and environments.

Youth Group leaders meet our teenagers where they are mentally, spiritually, and emotionally with a relevant forum to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ, and to discover who they are and where they fit into God’s plan. We teach our youth how their faith can empower them in negative environments, tempting social situations, and under pressure decision-making. Our teenaged youth are engaged in conversations that will challenge their minds, create options for their future, and draw them closer to God.

Youth Ministry meets at least one Friday a month every other month at our ENY Campus from 7:00-9:00pm, and has service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month at our ENY Campus at 9:00am. Show up to any Youth Ministry service or event to join on the spot. For more information contact Sister Amina Mansaray at [email protected]
